Willow Wattle & Garden Bones

New snow this morning! Look north...

Look down...

Look up...

Look through...

Look into... there are tiny mouse babies sleeping in the heating compost

Look along...greenhouse growing pots getting winterized

Look close and afar...the willow wattle wall and the garden shed frame the foothills.

While it rests, a garden's bones make the scene. The rich patterns created and outlined by a recent snowfall inform the skeleton waiting, waiting. A garden is a cycle with each point of the year's compass important to the whole.

  1. Wattle is one my favorite garden structures. Some of my wattle is hardly classic, but it serves my needs.

I found you through Blotanical. See you there, be sure to read the FAQs under the Help tab if you haven't already done so.
