Ah, yes, here is the Last of the Garden Soup. Floating there on top is roasted Cinderella pumpkin, white potatoes, and the final onion all bubbling to make a tasty mid-day soup. Dried garlic chips, a little white wine, chicken broth, and there you have it. So simple yet that which makes a -30 degree day bearable!
The last of the All Reds made it into the soup pot. If you grow potatoes this variety is wonderful for its color, crispness, and contains less starch. I am sorry to have these disappear for the season. Next season, I will plant lots more!
